Seamus O’Rourke is a writer, poet and actor and storyteller. He writes about growing up in rural Ireland – about being a rural man and the complicated relationships between fathers and sons. His observations are always of a humorous nature… and yet he cuts to the quick of every subject.
He has contributed to ‘Countrywide’, ‘Funny Friday’ and ‘The Pat Kenny Show’ on radio – and ‘The Late Late Show’ and ‘The Tommy Tiernan Show on Tevelivision.
Seamus has millions of hits on YouTube and Social Media with his readings, poems and recitations. He has written three books – ‘A Lock of Poems, Recitations & Good Ones’ and his memoirs – ‘Standing in Gaps’ & ‘Leaning on Gates’.
